Why should we legalize a document from Foreign Ministry?

We should legalize a document from Ministry of Foreign Affairs for various reasons. A student should attest his document for obtaining higher education from abroad. Because foreign organizations give more importance to the seal and signature of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh. Why does an applicant need to attest the Nikhanama from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs?

In the current context, there is many reasons to attest a Nikahnama from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The husband needs the Nikhanama to take his wife in the abroad. For this reason, they must collect the Nikhanama from the Kazi of the concerned Union or Ward. The Kazi must affix his seal and signature properly on Nikhanama. First of all, we should collect the National Identity Card (NID Card) from Election Commission Office of local area. After that, we must notarize the National Identity Card (NID Card). However, we may translate the National Identity Card (NID Card) in English or other language as per requirement for overseas. After the translation, we must notarize the original copy and translated copy of National Identity Card. Then, we submit the notarized National Identity Card to the Ministry of Law for further legalization. Yes, we do the attestation of any experience certificate from BMET and from Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Whereas, few days ago we have attested an experience certificate. A company namely M/S Hoque Engineers issued this experience certificate. This certificate is first signed by the Managing Director of the organization. In the first step we notarized the said experience certificate by the Notary Public Advocate. The Notary Public Advocate affixed his authentication seal on the said document. Then we got the attestation of experience certificate from BMET. Afterward, we submitted the experience certificate to the Ministry of Law for next attestation. Whereas, the location of the Ministry of Law is in Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It usually takes the time of one day to complete the proceedings of the Ministry of Law. Finally we attested the experience certificate from Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Do you authenticate the training certificate from the relevant ministry?

Yes, we authenticate the training certificate from the concerned ministry. A few days ago our company authenticated a survey training certificate from the ministry. Whereas, Azad Land Survey Institute issued the said training certificate. The Chief Superintendent of Survey signed on the said survey certificate. We authenticated the backside of the said certificate as per rules of the attestation of original certificate. First we notarized the training certificate. After that, we authenticated the training certificate from BMET. The Deputy Director (Employment) of BMET signed on the said training certificate. Then he submitted the training certificate to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs for attestation. After authentication by Ministry of Law, we submitted the training certificate to Ministry of Foreign Affairs for authentication. Anwara Khanam, Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attested the said training certificate. After such authentication, the applicant can use the certificate for overseas work.

Do you legalize SSC certificate of Dhaka board?

Yes, we legalize the SSC Certificate of Dhaka Board. Generally, we should legalize the original copy of SSC certificate of Dhaka Board from the Ministry. However, the ministry legalizes the photocopy beside the original copy. Usually, the ministry legalizes the backside of the original copy. On the other hand, the ministry legalizes the front side of the photocopy. For example, we legalized the photocopy of SSC Certificate few days ago. Then we notarize the document as per rules. Then we took the verification of the SSC Certificate on the front side. Then we submitted the SSC Certificate to the Ministry of Education for legalization. Ministry of Foreign Affairs legalized the SSC Certificate within fixed date. Afterward we submitted the SSC Certificate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for further legalization. Then Ministry of Foreign Affairs legalized our papers on the basis of correctness of our legalization process.

Do you provide the attestation services for HSC Certificate of Dhaka Board from Ministry of Foreign Affairs?

Yes, we provide the attestation services for HSC Certificate of Dhaka Board from Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Usually, we require to attest the original copy of HSC certificate of Dhaka Board from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Of course, our company legalizes the Certificate of the National University. Only the students of National University can legalize their certificates from the board of National University. The Assistant Controller of Examinations of the National University will legalize on the backside of the original certificate. The location of the board of the National University is in Gazipur. At first we shall notarize the certificate of National University. After notarization, we will submit the Certificate of National University to the Ministry of Education for authentication. The Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Education will affix his seal of legalization on the Certificate of National University. Ministry of Education is a ministry under the Government of Bangladesh. Whereas, all Bangladeshi students must come to the Ministry of Education in Dhaka for legalization. After verification by the Ministry of Education, we shall present the Certificate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

How to authenticate a passport copy from Bangladesh?

At first the customer should notarize the passport copy. Whereas, he must notarize the passport copy by a licensed notary public. The seal should contain the name and phone number of the notary public. Then the client must legalize the passport copy from the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. So, at first he must come to the Ministry of Law located in Dhaka to legalize his passport copy. The Ministry of Law will affix its seal and attestation on the passport copy. Ministry of Law attests any valid document including passport copy. After the attestation from the Law Ministry, we will send the passport copy to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For which reason we need to attest the Arabic translated copy from the Islamic Foundation?

We need to attest the Arabic translated copy from the Islamic Foundation for some important reasons. For example, I attested a document from the Islamic Foundation a few days ago. It was a master’s certificate of a public university. I first translated the certificate into Arabic Language. Then I notarized the Arabic translated copy. After that, I submitted the notarized Arabic translation copy to Islami Foundation. Islami Foundation observed the translation of the document. After observation they found some mistakes on the document. Afterward, I have corrected the said mistakes before attesting from Islami Foundation. Later, the respected teacher of Islami Foundation affixed his seal with attestation on the said copy. Then I submitted the document to the Ministry of Education. Finally, I attested the said copy from Ministry of Foreign Affairs within fixed time.

Yes, Islamic Foundation authenticates some specific documents. Islamic Foundation authenticates any Arabic translated document. Beside this, Islamic Foundation authenticates any Arabic Certificate and English Certificate. Because Bangladeshi Arabic translators cannot translate any Arabic document very well. Whereas, the embassy does not certify any wrong translation. Therefore, the Islamic Foundation checks and verifies any Arabic-translated copy before submitting it to the Embassy. Islamic Foundation has many respected teachers to verify the Arabic translation. They observe the translated copy carefully. Afterward, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs authenticates the document by looking at the attested seal of the Islamic Foundation. The Saudi Embassy authenticates the document by seeing the seal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Then, Kuwait Embassy authenticates any document based on the seal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Also, the Embassy of Qatar authenticates any educational certificate based on the signature of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Do you verify the certificate of British Council?

Of course, we verify the certificate of British Council. The British Council has several processes for certifying any document. Generally the British Council does not attest original certificates. The British Council attests the black-white photocopy of the original certificate. Firstly, we must notarize the photocopy of the original certificate of British Council. After the notarization, we should go to the British Council for attestation. For this, we should go to the concerned department of the British Council located at Fuller Road, Dhaka for attestation. From there we shall collect the form of application. Then we shall go to the designated bank to pay the fees of attestation. Afterward, we come back to the British Council again. The authority of British Council will attest the certificate on accuracy of the document. After completion of attestation from British Council, we attest the document from Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Do you attest the Nikhanama from Saudi Embassy?

Yes, we attest the Nikhanama from Saudi Embassy. At first, we translate the Nikhanama in Arabic Language before submitting to the Saudi Embassy. Afterward, we should attest the Nikhanama from Islamic Foundation. After attestation from Islamic Foundation, we submit the Nikhanama to the Ministry of Law and Foreign Affairs. After that, we should submit the marriage certificate to the Saudi Embassy for attestation. Then we should pay the specified fee to attest the Nikhanama. Before certification, the Saudi Embassy will look at the proof of payment of the fee. Then Saudi Embassy will process the document for attestation seeing the proof of fees payment. Afterward, Saudi Embassy will tell us to receive our attested document on a fixed date. Then we shall go to Saudi Embassy to collect our attested Nikhanama. Whereas, the client can use the attested Nikhanama in any place of Saudi Arabia.

What is the process to submit the birth certificate to the Embassy of UAE (or Dubai)?

There are a certain procedures to submit a birth certificate to the Embassy of UAE (or Dubai). Because different embassies follow different procedures to attest birth certificates. Before submitting the birth certificate to the UAE (or Dubai) embassy, the client must notarize the birth certificate. After completing the notarization, the client must attest it from the Ministry of Law. The client must legalize the birth certificate from Ministry of Health before submitting it to the UAE (or Dubai) Embassy. Additional Secretary of Health Services legalized the birth certificate. The Department of Health Services is an organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. As per the directives of the Government of Bangladesh, the Health Services Department authenticated any birth certificate.

Whereas, the Chairman and Secretary of the relevant Union Council will sign on the Succession Certificate. Anyone can prove the correctness of the succession certificate showing the signature of the relevant persons. Whereas, we have attested a Succession Certificate a few days ago. We first notarized the succession certificate. We have a licensed notary public to notarize the said succession certificate. Thereafter, we submitted the said succession certificate to the Ministry of Law for verification. The Law Ministry duly attests and sends the Succession Certificate back to us. Murad Jahan Chowdhury, Senior Assistant Secretary of Law Ministry stamped on the Succession Certificate. Then we submit the document to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ministry of Foreign Affairs affixed the round seal, serial number and attestation on the Succession Certificate
